Aquinnah Afternoon is inspired by my mom, whose favorite scent and color were lavender, and by the sense of peace I feel standing at the cliffs in Aquinnah, where the landscape stretches wide and time seems to slow.
Cedar Tree Neck is inspired by one of my favorite Island hikes, winding through scraggly trees along the rugged sanctuary trails before opening to breathtaking views of the Vineyard Sound.
Chilmark Gardens is inspired by my friend Kristen’s bountiful, beautiful garden in Chilmark where rows of herbs, vegetables, and flowers come together in a way that feels both abundant and deeply rooted in the land.
Katama Breeze was born on a walk down the bike path toward South Beach, where the scent of wild honeysuckle suddenly carried through the air and the bright orange petals of butterfly flowers danced in the coastal wind.
Menemsha Sunset captures one of the Vineyard’s most beloved rituals: picking up a lobster roll from Larsen's Fish Market and watching the sky turn gold over the harbor, a memory that also marks one of my first dates on Island with my partner Brendan.
South Beach Sunshine comes from long walks with my dog along one of my favorite Island beaches, when the warmth of the sun returns after a long Vineyard winter and you can feel it on your skin again.
Up-Island Orchard reflects the quiet shift of the seasons, inspired by crisp fall afternoons on the Island and the simple pleasure of bringing home fresh apples from the farm stand.
